Program Director Meetings

Each scholar is expected to schedule one-on-one meetings with their Program Director(s). The expectation for each Program Director is that he/she will get to know each scholar on a personal level and visa versa.

The frequency of meetings is dependent on the scholar's needs and academic status. The purpose of these individual meetings is to assist the scholar with academic, social, or personal issues that will better ensure the student's success at KU.

Group Social Events

Monthly group meetings include social or cultural events. These activities assist scholars to develop relationships with people from both similar and diverse ethnic backgrounds, acquire social skills and provide ample occasions to learn about a wide range of art forms. MSP groups attend theatrical, operatic, ballet, and musical performances. MSP groups tour museums and local areas of interest, as well as attend lectures by professionals in their fields of study.
